Mubasher: Traders in the GCC bourses are likely to invest in mid- and small-cap stocks which stand at attractive price levels on Wednesday, capital market analyst Nawaf Al Ajmi said.
The GCC markets saw a volatile performance on Tuesday; the UAE markets rose after Dana Gas announced its sukuk restructuring plan, while the Qatari bourse saw a bearish performance.
Most Gulf indices are expected to continue their sideways-to-bullish performance, amid anticipations of US stocks’ performance, analysts added.
Blue chips are seeing profit-taking, which may weigh on the markets, Al Ajmi stated.
Investors’ positive sentiment increased in some stable markets like that of the UAE and Kuwait, he added.
